AK-Gramov Applauds A'Ibom At 33

The Lagos chapter of  Akwa Ibom Grassroots  Movement For Good Governance (AK-GRAMOV) has applauded the current administration in Akwa Ibom for rebuilding the state democratically and economically for the prosperity of all, thus making it at 33 the most industrial-based state in Nigeria.
Dr. Godwin Akpan gave the commendation in his remarks at the chapter's stakeholders meeting held at Olosan Police Barracks, Mushin, Lagos, last Sunday.
He said the group were well pleased to identify with Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration which has successfully made the state homely and livable for every class of citizen of the world irrespective of their social status.
Appreciating God for the state at 33, Akpan said, "God has been so faithful and good to the state and people. He urged all and sundry to remain united and grateful to God at all times and continue to contribute their best to enhance more development and progress.
According to him, "Our main purpose of this gathering is to first thank God for our state at 33, secondly, take stock on how far we have gone as a state in a last 33 years, as well appreciate our leaders and people and look at the way forward.
From all indications, we have seen the mighty hand of God in our state and people.
At 33, "we have made outstanding progress politically, economically and socially.
Besides, the new state anthem and emblem is a plus, and as a group, we commend the governor for this initiative. Therefore, as a group as well we congratulate the governor in particular and our people in general.
While urging the people of the state to keep supporting the government of the day, Akpan advised the political leaders in particular to be humble before God and man in their daily affairs and carry their followers along in all activities.
He used the forum to also thank the governor for the recent appointment of the international president of the group, Mr. Edima Martins as the special assistant on Projects Monitoring.
