Chairman Of SSEB Assures Recruitment Exercise Will Be Devoid Of Nepotism "Man-Know-Man.

As the Akwa Ibom government commences the recruitment of 1000 teachers into the secondary school system, the chairman of the State Secondary Education Board (SSEB) has assured that the exercise would be devoid of nepotism "man-know-man. Dr Ekaete Okon has assured that everything was set for the smooth take-off and execution of the recruitment exercise. Okon stated this while briefing the EXCO Recruitment Supervision Committee led by the head of the Civil Service (HCS), Elder Effiong Essien, on the state of preparedness of the Board for the recruitment of teachers as directed by the state government. She assured that the recruitment processes would be transparent and devoid of nepotism. The EXCO committee headed by the head of service has as members, the commissioners for education and information and strategy. The commissioner for education was represented by the permanent secretary in the ministry, Mrs Helen Ante. The recruitment will commence Monday, January 18, 2021 with the opening of the application portal .
